Anthony “Tony” Coletto has over 35 years experience in business planning. Tony has effectively applied his knowledge and experience to help his clients realize their goals for profit and market growth. At S&A, Tony uses his expertise for business planning and development, mergers and acquisitions and is presently helping the company to grow and diversify in various industries and sectors. He has assisted many clients in areas such as plan development and the execution of highly effective strategic business plans, succession planning, financial analyses and internal corporate reorganizations. His impressive portfolio of clients includes manufactures, distributors and service companies and he has been applying his expertise in a wide variation of industries such as aerospace, industrial development, energy marketing, transportation and more.
Paula R. Harrison, Project Support/Administration
Paula Harrison has over 25 years of experience in the accounting industry. She is well versed in accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations. Her organizational skills and ability to see a project through to the end are incomparable. Her skills include negotiation, cost reduction procedures and logistics coordination. She assists on special projects, and her other responsibilities include project support, coordinating trade shows, arranging clients' meetings, and making travel arrangements for the consultants. Her academic qualifications are in accounting and business from various colleges in New York.
James D. Jackson, Senior Consultant
James Jackson has over 35 years experience in the Investment Casting Industry and development research in high technology industry such as aerospace, electronics and material science.
He has been a Consultant with S&A Consulting Group for over ten years. His projects have included work in the U.S. and Far East and he has presented numerous papers at technical conferences in the USA and abroad. Jackson's experience includes but is not limited to, contract R&D in materials science, directing development research programs in both shell and core ceramic systems for the investment casting industry, managing a ceramic core finishing facility of an aerospace company, installation and startup of an automated ceramic shell dip system and designing of a shell drying system and research in materials for aerospace components, including rocket propellants. He has served as Technical Director of Investment Casting Institute of America, Product Line Manager of a ceramic preparation and blending operation of an aerospace company, and Director of Technical Sales & Marketing for a major refractory producer. Jackson holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and Ohio State University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Baldwin- Wallace College.
Alvin Saini
Alvin Saini is the Managing Director of Hillstone Management which is a subsidiary company of S&A Consulting Group, LLP. Hillstone’s focus is working with companies that are in financial distress caused by investments in the mortgage industry. The clientele are mostly those within the real estate space, however, Hillstone also works with other assets such as commercial mortgage backed securities and other asset-backed securities such as autos, aircraft receivables and student loans. Hillstone performs the financial analytics on these portfolios by evaluating their underlying value. The value of these assets, in combination with proprietary financial models, gives us the ability to provide our clients with a reasonable price estimate and a variance for their inherent market value. Additonally, Hillstone provides valuation and risk services (market and operational risk) that enable companies to understand what internal and external factors are affecting their business functions so that their overall efficiency can be improved.
Alvin Saini is a seasoned veteran in the mortgage industry with over 8 years of work experience in the structured finance industry where he has worked in a variety of fixed income roles dealing with originations, banking and accounting. His primary focus has been in real estate but he has worked on numerous other products such as MBS/ABS/CMBS and CDO related entities and has been able to apply his quantitative knowledge in areas such as financial modeling, risk management, valuation, and credit. He previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their banking and capital markets advisory practice where he engaged with clients in need of valuation, risk, restructuring and model validation work; Morgan Stanley in their fixed income division doing originations work and Credit Suisse First Boston in their investment banking division for securitized products.
Currently, Alvin has launched Hillstone in New York and is consulting with UBS Financial Services in their real estate sector. He is engaged within their quantitative group to assist in building out their cashflow models, evaluating their pricing matrices and assisting on documentation requirements for regulators. He is also managing other projects dealing with financial systems work to improve their underlying trading platform.
Mr. Saini has been with S&A Consulting Group since January of 2009 and holds a bachelors degree in Finance and Marketing from Drexel University.
Thomas J. Thornton, Senior Consultant
Thomas Thornton has almost 25 years of diverse experience in manufacturing of aerospace and related investment casting, ceramic, and composite products. His experience includes application of lean manufacturing, cellular manufacturing, and continuous flow manufacturing principles in a wide range of experience in material, process, and equipment development. With S&A, Thornton has a proven record as a project manager experienced in developing, piloting, and implementing a variety of materials, process and capital equipment projects.
Thornton’s unique combination of material and process engineering technology skills provides superior quality, cost-effective service. He has brought manufacturing processes through the pilot plant stage and into production and development, creating new generations of casting processes and alloys. He holds a Masters of Material Science and Engineering from the University of Virginia and has training in JIT, TQM, SPC, Cellular Manufacturing, ISO 9000, and injection die tooling.
Jane M. Neubauer, Senior Marketing Consultant
Jane Neubauer brings over 8 years of experience in the market research field, both for Fortune 500 companies, as well as independently. Her diversified background includes working with manufacturing, service and technology firms. At S&A she has performed market research for various new market opportunities for manufacturers in the aerospace industry. Jane specializes in market research for new products and new market opportunities, and provides business-planning services for individuals and companies across the country that are involved in new business ventures. She holds an MBA in Marketing from Case Western Reserve University and a B.A. in Economics from Denison University.
